This time not an axe wielding hero, just an old man telling a story to his best friend. I don’t know what the old man has to say, maybe he tells a story about their past as they were young and strong, fought together and won several wars. Now grown old realizing that fighting and winning wars didn’t make him feel any better, he’s tired of fighting and he thanks god that he’s still together with his best friend, his trusty horse…

Awesome realism there, but the horse's head seems a little too big to me. Dunno whether it is or not, cos i don't know the relative size of equine anatomy, but it seems that way...

I really like this. The old man looks so real. I feel some sadness for him although I don't know anything about him. I think I would like to be their friend.

I love this so much, in fact I think it may be my all time fav of yours. You did an incredible job on the man's face and your attention to detail is right on! I think you should stick to this style!
